I've been holding off on a writing a review after each of my haircuts; each experience was slightly negative, but I brushed it aside chalking it up to a one-off experience. My last experience was the final straw. I showed up a minute early to my 10am haircut only to learn that my barber wasn't there and is normally late. He didn't show up til 10:08. His lack of respect for my time was one thing, but what bothered me more was that he did not listen to what i asked him to do with my hair. He cut it way too short. That still wasn't the worst thing I've experienced there. I don't know if any other POC have experience this, but I always feel like I'm treated worse than their non-POC customers. I will finally look for a new barber.

Always a good cut! This is your neighborhood barber shop, friendly, good at what they do, relaxed, and at modest cost. The appointment calendar makes timing much easier; the "old way" could be a little hit or miss timed to your arrival. Highly recommend!

I've been seeing Amy for a few years and after moving out of the local area I have continued to drive 25 miles for my style. Needless to say, I am always pleased. I love IN-Style Barber Shop located at the Courthouse Plaza. There are quite a few barbershops in the immediate area, but I have to say this is the best one. I always feel like they do an amazing job. I consider myself very selective. I have had my hair cut by Murat and Hasan at this location. Both are very personable. You can tell they have been cutting hair for some time. They take their time and I never feel rushed. I feel they listen to what I want versus cutting your hair they want (I hate that). I would highly recommend making an appointment versus walking in. Pre-pandemic I had to wait sometimes 45 minutes to get my hair cut because there was a long wait. Even then, I thought the wait was worth it because they do such a good job. If at another barber nearby, I probably wouldn't wait. Since implementing an appointment system, I have always been able to get my haircut at my scheduled time. The appointment system has been a very big plus. And, they have people spaced out at least 6 ft apart. For safety protocols, you have to wait outside if you are waiting. People getting a cut are the only customers inside. There are multiple benches in the plaza to sit and wait. If it is raining, there are a few places nearby (within 50 ft) you can wait without getting wet. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Great experience - I've been coming to Instyles Barbershop for 7 years now and can't help but be impressed every time. This was the first haircut I'd had in 6 months following the COVID-19 restrictions and honestly, given the service, I should have been coming back much sooner.

They use disposable hair cut capes and one time my mask was too tight and I got a disposable one as a courtesy. Post college I am glad this shop is still a part of the community and my weekly routine.
